More untouched than other parts of the Dominican Republic, Samaná plays host to beautiful water front views, whale watching, and some great dining. Being more of an isolated and less crowded part of the country, visitors here will find smaller crowds and a few mid-range hotels and resorts. Some of the hotels are located right on the beach, while others slightly just off of the beach.
